Kurt focuses his practice on energy law with an emphasis on title examination. He has rendered original drilling title opinions, division order title opinions, supplemental opinions as wells as acquisition title opinions for both Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth based firms. He has also managed full/supplement title and acquisition due diligence projects across multiple states including Texas, Colorado, North Dakota, Wyoming, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Kurt is a second career professional who spent over a decade in the airline industry. He is a licensed Private Pilot and certified Aircraft Dispatcher.
